Ben Powell-Jones is the former creative director of LADBible and the co-founder of Strong Watch Studio. He was involved in building LADBible's original content, coming from a TV career. He also spent time living in Japan, which had a significant cultural impact on his perspective on teamwork and collaboration.

Meet the guests

Ben has been working in entertainment for over a decade on some of the world's most iconic and best known brands. After joining the EndemolShine Group in 2012 he worked across TV development and production at an international level, collaborating with many territories. In 2015 Ben created and ran a small digital department which was responsible for producing EndemolShine's first original console game. Following on from this in 2016, he helped pioneer EndemolShine's move into video games playing a central role in the creation of Good Catch, the company's first dedicated games company and as Head of Creative released a number of high performing games in both the console and mobile space. Ben subsequently moved into global formats within the EndemolShine Group, working across countries and teams. In 2018 he moved into the LADbible Group as Head Of Programming tasked with kickstarting their move into original formats and IP. In my first year my team was responsible for over 500 pieces of content. As well as winning multiple commissions across Facebook and Snapchat and TikTok Ben's team has launched several original formats including THE GAP, Agree To Disagree, Minutes With, Snack Wars, I WAS THERE and First Impressions. Series 1 of THE GAP has over 100 million views across platforms and been licensed to multiple platforms.
