Becky is Professor in Health Systems Innovation at London South Bank University, and Director of the Health Systems Innovation Lab. She leads the national Universal Healthcare Network working on how the NHS designs in inequalities; and is a national leader of Primary Care. Her experience is an unusual combination of leader, manager, researcher, change agent and entrepreneur. She is known to be an energetic and enthusiastic leader of change and a forward thinker. She has made sustained and demonstrable impact through her work on the quality of health services with global reach
She is currently an Independent Non-Executive Member (designate) at West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board, and an advisor to the Bromley by Bow Centre Social Prescribing Evaluation. She is the external examiner at the Imperial Digital Academy. She has recently been an advisor to the RSA Future of Health and Care. Becky is a nominator for the Ashoka network and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
Becky also leads The Ilkley Clean River Campaign to clean up the sewage pollution in rivers, which also supports a national network of local campaign groups. Becky also leads the Ilkley Great Get Together; and a group sewing the Ilkley Pride and Diversity Flag.
