Squadify 8.9.0 — Action Planner and Security Updates

This latest release adds functionality for users in the Action Planner with more sections to track actions, accountabilities and timescales more effectively. We also released security updates to aligned to ISO27001 and introducing security enhancements derived from our recent Penetration Testing program.

New Features

Action Planner

• Increased detail enabled for Action Planning
  • Additional sections for actions, outcomes, and close-out
  • Enables ability to report across teams on action completion

Custom Dynamics – custom averages

• Custom averages calculated from internal squad scores only
  • Enables internal benchmarking
  • Retains confidentiality at team level while providing meaningful comparison data

Security upgrades

We continue to strengthen security across the platform with controls aligned to ISO 27001 standards. This update includes enhancements informed by our ongoing security testing and review programme:

• Enhanced Authentication Architecture
  We have further strengthened our authentication model with improved token signing and validation. Session tokens are now issued and validated exclusively by backend services, reinforcing consistency and security.
• Privacy & Identity Protection
  We have enhanced account protection mechanisms within authentication and recovery flows to further safeguard user privacy and prevent unauthorised account discovery.
• Platform Resilience & Resource Protection
  We have introduced refined controls on API usage to support consistent performance, protect system resources, and ensure reliable service under varying demand conditions.
• Performance and Stability improvements

This update delivers performance optimisations and stability enhancements across authentication and API resource management, supporting a faster and more reliable experience.
