our story

We have positively impacted teams in companies of different types and sizes and across many sectors and aim to help 1 million teams achieve their goals.

Our founders, Pia and Dan, have been a mini-squad for over a decade. Travelling the world from the shores of Tanzania to the floors of Silicon Valley they have seen first-hand how teams work, and how they don’t. It was on a trip to California that they realised how leaders are suffering on their own – brought in to make things happen but trying to go it alone. These leaders needed to ‘squadify’ the people around them to make work more productive, connected and enjoyable. The rest is, well, the future.

Pia and Dan arrived at this point from quite different angles: Pia, from teaching children, moving on to leadership development to see what happened when the pupils grew up and then becoming a leadership psychologist to hone her ‘team whispering’ skills; Dan, an engineering graduate with a background in product management in healthcare where his analytical brain fell in love with the power of technology to solve problems efficiently. This diversity of thinking has always served them and they hope that Squadify will allow others to play nicely and combine their talents in the same way.

our mission

We are on a mission to positively impact as many teams as we can, globally. For too long, we have been taught that it is all about the individual. ‘Top talent’. ‘High potentials’. ‘Great leaders’. Whilst we can believe that we are being urged to be independent - to go it alone, be first, to win, there’s often a bigger cost to us as humans. Our very humanity, our ability to connect and to work together to be greater together.

Squadify stands up for those things in humanity. For interdependence – the combination of talents to deliver more than the sum of their parts. For teams, and for any group, anywhere, doing anything for good.

We believe that we need each other, we work best together and that we can achieve more together. Squadify is on a mission to make that happen for the many by combining awesome data with a human dialogue that makes them, and the planet richer for the experience.

Whether you are a large enterprise or a small start up, you run your own business or you lead on the frontline, it takes teams of people to get things done and the conditions for success remain the same; clarity, climate and competence.

our purpose

The planet we all share has so many opportunities and so many challenges. These problems are beyond the ability of any individual to solve – they require the combined talents and diverse approaches of small groups of dedicated people. Often called teams, these groups share a goal and rely on one another to achieve it. But support for these teams is scarce and limited to the very fortunate. It’s time to democratise teamwork so that we can move forward together. 

That’s why our purpose is ‘to give the world the teams it needs’. 

We are on a mission to make this happen. Building connections and communities and giving any group anywhere the insights and mutual support that is need to make teamwork work.
